This is a day in the life of my two dogs. I love my dogs to death and they make every day fun and interesting for me when I go home. I have had dogs all my life and they are definitely better than cats. Dogs are the ultimate companion and truly a man's best friend. I couldn't imagine my life without any of my dogs, but I can realize it without my cats. I wrote this as narrated by Sula, the smaller and brown dog. I ended up taking 190 pictures of these two in a weeks time, but these are the ten that I think tell about their everyday life. I wish I could live their lavish lifestyle and be able to love so unconditionally like dogs do.
My name is Sula, I am one year old Cockapoo, I am half Poodle and half Cocker Spaniel. Other dog named Molly. She is half Golden Retriever and half Poodle. She is seven months old. Together we one poodle. We have great life, do lots of fun things. Love our family unconditionally like all dogs do.
PLAY TIME. MY FAVORITE THING! We play all day in the yard. Molly steals my toys because she is bigger, but I am fast. We always get dirty when the people are not looking.
We went in water, MY FAVORITE THING. Humans said water is pool and pool is not "open". Seems open to me. They say we need bath, Molly go first. She looks skinny with out poofy fur, looks funny. Bath just like swimming, dont know why this is good and pool is bad.
Standing on a wall, MY FAVORITE THING! Pack Leader is yelling at me. Dont know what do wrong. I standing on wall to see surroundings, be good guard dog. Oh well back to playing
Chasing other animal, MY FAVORITE THING! Dont know what it is, bark at it anyway. Humans let it in house, no clue why. Chase it around house, humans say "Leave the cat alone", dont know what cat is. It hits me in face when i get too close. Cat does not know it is two against one, cat cannot win.
Posing for pictures, MY FAVORITE THING! Master takes a lot of pictures, take pictures of playtime. This is favorite toy, human says it water bottle. But it is giraffe, giraffe very crunchy. Realize if i look at human when taking pictures I get treat. I like treat, always smile.
MOM IS HOME! MOM IS HOME! MOM IS HOME! MY FAVORITE THING. I love Mom, Mom brought me home from breeders. Havent seen Mom in what felt like years. So happy she home, run around like crazy. Make her happy to come home. Food is coming soon, always after Mom get home. I love food
FOOD, MY FAVORITE THING! If I stare at food long enough, I might get some. I just wait till human leave it on table, then i climb table and eat food. Food is good, ask for food at all chances. Attempt to use cuteness to bribe for food, but ice cubes just as good.
SLEEP, MY FAVORITE THING! I sleep all day, but sleep is awesome. Now its late, humans watch box with things in it till very late. I sleep on their lap, they pet me, very nice. I love being pet. I love life. Goodnight human
Writing from your dogs' perspective is an entertaining and creative idea. The pictures were all of great quality and I liked the 'insight' to the dogs' perspective. Very cute!

ReplyDeleteI like how you wrote not from your own perspective, but from one of your dog's. Very creative and entertaining to try to get inside of a dogs head throughout all of their activities. My favorite pictures are the ones of the dog with the pizza and on the wall with the neighbor yelling at him.

I like how the pictures give us an idea of what the dogs personalities are like without even having to meet them. Documenting a dogs life was creative and an entertaining idea. The pictures were clear, good quality and over all very funny!
ReplyDeleteI really liked this blog post! There are a ton of good action shots and I really like how the writing is in the perspective of the dogs. I especially like the "posing for pictures" photo. This is a great centered picture that captures the dog and its personality extremely well. Also, the caption that goes along with this picture is extremely funny.
